Only Lies Quiz
You get hints about an animal, but every hint is a lie. Flip the lies, picture the real animal, and name it.
How to play
- Pick a difficulty and press Start. There are 8 questions.
- 3 to 5 hints appear. Every hint is a lie.
- For example, if "It has four legs" is a lie, the animal really does not have four legs.
- Choose, from four options, the one animal that contradicts none of the lies.
Three difficulties
- Easy: 3 hints. You get up to 2 tries.
- Normal: 4 hints. You get up to 2 tries.
- Demon: 5 hints. The options differ by only one feature, and you get just 1 try.
Scoring and ranks
A correct first try earns 100 points, and a correct second try earns 40. The maximum is 800 points over 8 questions, with ranks from "Believed the lies" to "Detective of truth". After answering, each lie is shown with its truth.
The features
Eight features are used: four legs, can fly, lives in water, has fur, lays eggs, often kept as a pet, found in the Japanese countryside, and over 1 meter long as an adult. Some names cover several species, so the game uses specific ones such as the Asiatic black bear and the Japanese rat snake.
Tips
- Flip every hint. If "It can fly" is a lie, think "It cannot fly".
- Test the options one by one. Apply the flipped hints to each animal.
- On Demon, one hint decides it. The options differ by exactly one feature, so check every hint.
